jQuery is actually included in Wordpress already - you simply need to call it to action. I found a great resource on this subject here:

Here is a new site we are working on with wNetMedia. This site focuses on reviewing books and allowing users to do the same. We built the site and outsourced the illustration, as usual we usually do. We have really been working with some amazing artists these days. I think the artists who worked on the girl in this site is just perfect for this sort of site. Well, I would - I was the art director for it! A nice tidy site, simply done and already getting a lot of traffic!

So I was using a program called “Rank Tracker”, which offered a decent free version that allowed copying and pasting…until today when I was forced to download a new version that is nearly completely useless. Very sad, as the tool ws great before. Now a version of this rank tracking software is $267!
So, I went over to our good friends at SEOMOZ and decided to give their free “Rank Checker” a try. So far - so good. For those that don’t know, this software is for people that need to see what sort of results their website is getting for a specific set of keywords. It’s easy enough to check 10 or so yourself, but when you need to check 3,000 - better find something automated.

Sometimes when I’m designing I’ve got through in a copyright or trademark symbol (Option + 2 if you are wondering!) and I can’t remember how! I came across this site today that is a quick cheat sheet of all sorts. Just copy and paste the character into whatever you re working on and voila!

Here is a site offering free fonts for it’s users. Lot’s available here - do be careful when downloading and installing fonts… lots can go wrong if you get a corrupt one! Major font houses like House Industries are the best places to get fonts (a designer in business for many years will likely have a collection of several thousand fonts — We currently have 5,437) but free fonts are great at times!
